For the third time Conrad Stoltz won the XTERRA World Championship on Maui today. Julie Dibens first race on the island was unbelievable and she "easily" took the women's titel. Read more here

01.10.07 .:: XTERRA European Tour final standings ::.

Since XTERRA Denmark in August several XTERRA events have taken place in Europe, Japan, Brazil and Costa Rica. Read more about the races by visiting their websites, you will find them under the link "links".

The European XTERRA tour ended in the UK at this years final XTERRA event in Europe. French Nicolas Lebrun, last years winner and 2005 XTERRA World Champion was crowned champion of the tour and Eszter Erdelyi from Hungary, winner of XTERRA Denmark 07 and XTERRA Italy 07 took the women's titel. 22.08.07 .:: Slots for the XTERRA World Championship 2007 ::.

23 participants in XTERRA Denmark have qualified for the XTERRA world Championship in Maui on Oct. 28.

See the list here - qualified athletes are highlighted. Participants have until Friday to claim their slot, thereafter they will be passed on to the next in line. So if you want to join in but have not qualified, you still have a chance!

In cooperation with Århus 1900 Triathlon club XTERRA Denmark organized the second edition of XTERRA Denmark race in Århus this past weekend. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved. We had a great day in Hørhaven and this year even sun! We hope to put on another successful event next year!

19.08.07 .:: Results for XTERRA Denmark 2007 are online ::.

The results for the second edition of XTERRA Denmark are available here. Here participants can also download their diploma.

The winner of XTERRA Denmark off-road triathlon 2007 was last year's number two Ronny Dietz from Germany and Eszter Erdeyi from Hungary, while two locale triathletes Michael Larsen and Jette Bach both from Aarhus 1900 triathlon club won the sports distance.

Jens Trærup Nielsen, OTK, Denmark and Alieke Griffioen from the Netherlands won the duathlon and Morten Torp from Denmark and british Genni Gardner won the XTERRA Scramble 10 K run.

16.08.07 .:: Here we go ::.

Many participants have arrived in Århus and taken part in our course inspections. We are happy to see more than 130 triathletes start on Saturday plus some 45 duathletes and 30+ runners. All we can ask for now is good weather!!

Results will available online shortly after the race.

Parcipants in the three XTERRA events on Saturday 18, August can get a professional massage from the company Færre Sygedage/ Jobtrivsel after the race in Hørhaven.

03.08.07 .:: Garmin - new sponsor for XTERRA Denmark ::.

01.08.07 .:: Course inspection ::.

As we are not allowed to mark the courses until Friday morning before the event, we have arranged for two pre riding tours/ course inspection on the run and mountainbike course on Wednesday 15 Aug and Thursday 16 Aug 2007.

Meeting place is at the start and finish area in Hørhaven, Marselisborg Skov, Ørneredevej 23, 8270 Højbjerg.

22.07.07 .:: Volunteers wanted! ::.

We cannot put on a race like XTERRA Denmark without the help of many volunteers. We need volunteers to marshall out on the courses and help out at the different aid stations, so if you want to get involved in the event, have a fun day out in the forrest among XTERRA athletes and would like to help out on Friday 17th and/or Saturday 18th Aug. please sign up here as a volunteer. All volunteers will get a nice XTERRA t-shirt as a THANK YOU!

20.07.07 .: Changes in the European Tour - France no longer included ::.

Due to problems with the original venue in Mandelieu and date/event conflicts at the new French venue at the ski area of Auron, the XTERRA France event will not be a European Tour Points event. All avenues of negotiation failed to provide a date that was not in conflict with another XTERRA Championship. The French XTERRA at Auron will happen on Sunday 26 August and will be part of the 3 race French Tour but will not award points towards the European Tour Championship.

Due to this change in status of France there are now five (5) points events instead of six. For the Professional XTERRA European Tour Championship athletes can count their best four (4) finishes during the season. Professionals must have at least two races to qualify for season points money.

16.07.07 .:: Many of last year's Top 5 m/f return ::.

Four elite men and four elite women out of last year's top 5 m/f have now signed up for XTERRA Denmark 2007, so we are looking at a very exciting event. We are only missing the two champions, will they come and defend their titel?

We also see many age groupers return to Århus, so that is great. We cannot wait to welcome you again along with all the newcomers.

14.07.07 .:: A month to go ::.

In about a months time the second edition of XTERRA Denmark will take place in Århus and entries are starting to roll in, however, there are many places still, so sign up and join us! It will be an international event again this year with more than 10 nations represented on the start list and lots of activities such as a 10 K Scramble run, XTERRA duathlon and off road triathlon - sport and full distance and a relay competition.

31.05.07 .:: XTERRA European Championship 2007 in Italy ::.

Olivier Marceau and Eszter Erdelyi won their respective pro divisions at the XTERRA European Championship (aka XTERRA Italy) in the Gulf of Orosei, Sardinia on Saturday. See results and read all about the race on www.xterraitaly.it

16.04.07 .:: Another two events in the XTERRA Global Tour 2007 ::.

This weekend XTERRA South Africa and XTERRA New Zealand took place. In Grabouw, Western Cape, South Africa it was a South African sweep with the victory of Conrad Stoltz, the former XTERRA world champion and Michelle Lombardi.

In Rotorua, New Zealand, national athletes also won - the Kiwis Tim Wilding surprisingly won the men's event and Gina Ferguson won the women's race. For more info and complete results for the visit www.xterrasa.com and www.xterranz.com

17.03.07 .:: Marceau and Bucher win XTERRA Saipan again! ::.

An other Swiss Sweep in Saipan appropriately dubbed the Crown Jewel of the XTERRA Global Tour today where Olivier Marceau marks his 4th victory in row and Renata Bucher posted her third victory. Read more abourt XTERRA Saipan 2007 here

23.02.07 .:: Kick off for the XTERRA Global Tour 2007 with XTERRA Argentina ::.

Hometown hero Oscar Galindez won the inaugural XTERRA Argentina Championship in Carlos Paz on Feb. 17 2007 with a winning time of 2:27:53. In the women’s elite race Maria Soledad Omar of Argentina won in 3:33:08.
